[Irene Post Mortem] Social media and digital communications played an integral role in the city’s public communications during Tropical Storm Irene, August 25 - August 29. Using this data visualization work, we would like to display how NYC.gov and the NYC Mayor’s Office account on Twitter helped to inform New Yorkers across the 5 boroughs in near real-time.
